What brought you to Asian CineVision (ACV)?
I was browsing on blog.angryasianman.com, when I happened to stumble upon AAIFF’s shoutout for interns. Out of curiosity I applied because it sounded really fun. Then out of nowhere one day, I got a call from Judy for an interview. The point is, that blog brought me here.
What is your favorite part about being at ACV so far?
The amazing people you meet with their crazy unique backgrounds.
Asian CineVision has been around for over 35 years. Why is it important that an organization like Asian CineVision should still exist?
From what I have seen, Asian CineVision is an amazing organization that remains close contact with its network. An organization like this should still exists because it brings communities from different backgrounds together.
What should people expect from the 2013 Asian American International Film Festival?
There are a lot of films with different themes, cultures, and styles.
What is a fun fact about yourself?
There once was a time when I only drank drinks out of green bottles (mostly Sprite).
If you can be anything in this world, regardless of money or status, what would it be and why?
A rock because it is strong and tough, yet calm and patient.
