About the Filmmaker:
Sheron Dayoc’s first feature-length film Halaw/Ways of the Sea won several prizes including the Special Jury Prize NETPAC at the 2011 Berlin International Film Festival. He is currently working on his next feature project, Women of the Weeping River, supported by the Asian Cinema Fund, Asian Project Market, Hubert Bals Fund, and the Sundance Institute.
