"An atmospheric reverie... 'Hiroshima Mon Amour' mixed with 'The Big Sleep'." --Caryn James, New York Times

The first of Wong Kar-Wai's sensuous collaborations with cinematographer Christopher Doyle, set against a rumba rhythm in mythically hip 1960 Hong Kong. An intoxicating cocktail of lush nostalgia and bitter alienation, DAYS OF BEING WILD follows six drifters in their quixotic quest for one minute friends and their attempts to claim a past that never was.
