ASIAN CINEVISION PRODUCES
TEN GET-OUT-THE-VOTE PSAs

FOR THE INTERNATIONAL CHANNEL

New York, NY Asian CineVision (ACV) in collaboration with WooArt International produced a series of ten PSAs for the International Channel ranging from 10 to 60 seconds in a Get-Out-The-Vote campaign targeting the Asian American community. Themes involve why Asian Americans should vote to opinions on healthcare, education, and homeland security. The "We care. We decide. We vote." PSAs are non-partisan and focus on the 18-35 age demographic. "As Asian Americans are statistically the least likely to vote, I commend International Channel's commitment to helping to bring our community to the polls on November 2nd," says Executive Director Risa Morimoto who also directed the spots.

Shot over three days in New York City with all non-actors, every day Asian Americans were given an opportunity to voice their political opinions. When they felt issues did not affect them, they still understood the importance and relevance of exercising our voting right.

The ten spots are currently on rotation on the Asia Street block, primetime on the International Channel (check local listings), KTSF-TV in San Francisco or online at www.asiancinevision.org, www.apiavote.org, or www.internationalchannel.com.
